Retreat

We had such a nice time at the Conders on Saturday night.

We got out all kind of drums and other instruments...like Steve's wooden flutes and had a drum circle with the kids.

It was a nice retreat for me because I have been so stressed lately with all of the financial things going on........I am so thankful for the wonderful and unconditional friendships we have.......they give me hope to keep on growing.

Our friend that we adopted into our family, Mr. Russell.
He is an outstanding piano player and always gives us a concert....He comes for all holidays and family gatherings.

Grandpa Benjamin

This is a picture of my Grandpa Benjamin.
He died in 1994, just less than 2 weeks after my
grandma died.
My favorite saying that my grandpa said to me was when I was
wearing a new very brightly colored outfit........and I asked him if he liked my new shirt
or something and he just said "Well I guess that is what they are wearing these days."
