I got to spend part of the day with my friend Sue today.She is amazing. She just had gamma knife surgery on Monday to remove some tumors in her brain....and she is up fully engaged in life. She is an amazing artist....I don't think she ever knew she had that kind of talent until she had cancer.
She still is serving others and giving as much as she can.
She has been a long time volunteer at Malachi house which is hospice care that serves the poor. She makes me smile.
She is so full of life and gratitude.....she is alive and so spiriutally invested in other people!!
that to me is the meaning of life.....spiritually investing yourself in something other than yourself.
