Sometimes we live no particular way but our own!!

Marko on a field trip on the last day of school this year.

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.”

-Pablo Picasso

Your actions

Marko won this mask :)
What we think, or what we know, or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do.

Vision Boards

I don't know if you would remember....but when we made vision boards last winter, Macy put 3 cats on her vision board and I told her she could put as many cats on her board as she wanted, but we were not getting any cats!!!
Well, Mira's boyfriend just happened to have a cat show up on his doorstep....and guess what we have now......cat #2.
This new one is named Ash.
So, Ash and Jesse are now friends.
Hope you like the words below.
Namste,
Michele

What Life Is About ...

Life isn't about keeping score.
...It's not about how many friends you have
or how accepted you are.
It isn't about who your family is or
how much money they have
Or what kind of car you drive.
or where you went to school.
It's not about how beautiful or ugly you are,
or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on,
or what kind of music you listen to.
It's not about if your hair is blonde, red, black, or brown,
or if your skin is too light or too dark.

Life just isn't those things.....

Life is about who you love and who you hurt.
It's about who you make happy or unhappy purposely.
It's about keeping or betraying trust.
It's about friendship, used as a sanctity or as a weapon.

It's about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening.
It's about starting rumors and contributing to petty gossip.
It's about what judgments you pass and why.
And who your judgments are spread to.

It's about who you've ignored with full control and intention.
It's about jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge.
It's about carrying inner hate and love,
letting it grow and spreading it.

But most of all, it's about using your life to touch or poison
other people's hearts in such a way that
could have never occurred alone.

You, and only you,
choose the way those hearts are affected ...
AND THOSE CHOICES ARE WHAT LIFE'S ABOUT.

Don't forget to dance!!!!

First, I was dying to finish my high school and start college
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.

Then, I was dying to get married and have children
And then I was dying for my children to grow old enough
so I could go back to work
.
But, then I was dying to retire.

And now I’m dying .
Suddenly, I realized I forgot to live
.
Don’t let this happen to you.

Appreciate your present situation
.
Enjoy each day.

Why are we here???

Marko had a few friends over last night for a homework burning party.
Summer is offically here now!!!
I hope you enjoy the words below!!!
Namaste,
Michele

What are we here for, if not to help one another?
Surely, we didn't come all this way to be comfortable
We didn't travel across so much time and space
To impress our neighbors with our fancy cars.
And we're certainly not here to sit on the sidelines
And watch the world go by on our big screen tv's...
So what are we here for, if not to help one another?

(May we always remember what we are here for. ;-)

Rejoice!!!

For everything you have missed,
you have gained something else:
and for everything you gain, you lose something else.
It is about your outlook on life.
You can either regret or rejoice.

Friendship

It is one of the blessings of friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.
